Assam PGT Educational Qualification
- In case of Assamese Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Assamese language as one of the subjects or have diploma in Assamese Language issued by the Assam Sahitya Sabha or read up to HSLC level in Assamese Medium School
- In case of Bengali Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bengali language as one of the subjects or have Diploma in Bengali issued by the Barak Upatyaka Bangya Sahitya O Sanskriti Sammelan or read up to HSLC level in Bengali Medium School
- In case of Hindi Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Hindi language as one of the subjects or read upto HSLC level in Hindi Medium School
- In case of Bodo Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bodo language as one of the subjects or read upto HSLC level in Bodo Medium School
- In case of English Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with alternative English as one of the subject or read from Class XI onwards in English Medium School

Documents Required for Assam PGT Application Form 2024
While filling out the Assam PGT Application Form 2024 online, the candidates have to submit the following list of documents- Mark sheet of HSLC, HSSLC, BA/ B. Sc./B.Com & MA / M.Sc. / M.Com.
- Pass Certificate of HSLC, HSSLC, BA/ B. Sc./B.Com & MA / M.Sc. / M.Com.
- Pass Certificate / Admit Card of HSLC in support of age.
- Certificate and Mark sheet of B.Ed.
- Certificates in support of Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribe (Plains or Hills) / OBC /MOBC.
- The candidate belonging to the EWS category should submit the EWS certificate issued by the competent authority as per the rule.
- Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.
- Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board
Assam PGT 2024 Selection Process
As per Assam PGT 2024 selection process, the final selection shall be based on the performance in the TET exam and NCC / Sports / Fine Arts and Cultural Activities. The authorities will prepare a merit list based on the performance in the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) and performance in the cultural activities. The following are the major points that will be considered for creating the merit list.- Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary TET earlier but have not been appointed as a teacher will be given a relaxation of 5% of marks or a maximum of 5 marks in the merit list
- Candidates will be awarded 5 marks for NCC Certificates (5 marks for "C" Certificate and 3 marks for "B" Certificate)
- Candidates will be awarded 5 marks for participation in recognized sports at National Level representing Assam
- Candidates will get 5 marks for achievements in Fine Arts and Cultural Activities representing the State officially at the National Level
Assam PGT 2024 Salary Structure
The candidates who qualify for all the rounds of the Assam PGT Recruitment 2024 will be eligible to draw a salary in the scale of pay of Rs.22,000/ - to 97,000/- including Grade Pay of Rs. 11,800 /- PM (under Pay Band- 3). The salary for Assam Post Graduate Recruitment 2024 will include grade pay along with basic allowances.
