NVS Full Form : The full form of "NVS" is Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Navodaya Vidyalayas are run by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Education (MoE)(formerly the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) (1985–2020)), Department of School Education and Literacy, Govt. of India. The NVS has its headquarters in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and eight regional offices in Bhopal, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Pune, and Shillong. As of 2024, 649 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) are functioning all over India except in Tamil Nadu.
