- Raw Marks to NTA Scores Conversion : Candidates' raw marks are converted into NTA Scores , which are percentile-based. This means the NTA Score represents the percentage of candidates who have scored equal to or lower than a particular candidate.
- NTA Score Calculation : The NTA Score (Percentile Score) represents the percentage of candidates whose scores are equal to or less than a particular candidate’s score in that shift.
- Merging NTA Scores : The NTA Scores across different shifts are merged, allowing all candidates to be compared on a common scale. Since each shift may have a different level of difficulty, the normalization process ensures that candidates from different shifts are treated equitably.
- Handling Dissimilar Percentiles : In cases where percentile scores vary across shifts, the lowest percentile from all shifts is used to determine the cut-off score for eligibility.
