Stage-1 Premilenary Exam(Objective Types)
UPSC ESE the Prelims are the first stage on the way to qualification for the ESE exam. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam are admitted to the main exam. The preliminary exam has two parts:

UPSC ESE Registration 2023
The UPSC ESE 2023 application form was closed on October 4 on the official website, upsc.gov.in. On September 14 2022 UPSC Form was out. Steps for the registration of UPSC ESE Application Form:

UPSC DAF 2023
The Detailed Application Form (DAF) is filled out by applicants who have passed the pre-selection exam. While filling out the Detailed Application Form ( UPSC ESE ), the applicants have to first register and enter details like name, matriculation number, email ID, date of birth, and all other details and then click on the submit button
The registration details will be sent to the email address provided by the applicants. Applicants need to log in with the roll number and generated password and complete all six modules including personal, parental, educational, and employment details and upload the documents and finally submit the application form.

UPSC Exam Cutt Off 2023
UPSC ESE 2023 Cut Off is calculated based on the prelims and the main exam and is determined using 1100 points. Which is 500 for the preliminary exam and 600 for the main exam. As in the previous analysis, the minimum score for general, OBC, SC, and ST applicants was 20%, while the minimum score for physically disabled applicants was 10%.
The final score of UPSC ESE is based on the results obtained by the candidates recommended for selection and is calculated from 1300 points (500 points for the pre-selection, 600 points for the main examination, and 200 points for the interview). Based on the final allotment, a merit list will be prepared to select suitable applicants for the examination. Applicants are allocated to various positions based on their rank in the merit list and their preferences for specific industries and positions.

UPSC ESE Syllabus 2023
The requirements in the general education and engineering subjects (Preliminary Examination Level I) are comparable to those of an engineering graduate. The level of work in the other subjects is comparable to that of an engineering examination in an Indian university. There will be no practical exam.
