The UPSC TA Form is a financial reimbursement document designed to ensure that socio-economic or geographical distances do not create a barrier for candidates called to New Delhi for the final stage of the selection process.
The Commission reimburses travel expenses for candidates attending the Personality Test under specific conditions:
First-Time Appearance: Travel reimbursement is generally restricted to candidates appearing for the interview of a specific exam cycle for the first time or as per the explicit instructions in the e-Summon letter.
Outstation Exclusivity: Candidates residing within Delhi/NCR or those already stationed in New Delhi for work or study are not eligible for travel allowance.
Shortest Distance Rule: Calculation of fare is strictly calculated based on the shortest rail or public bus route between your declared residence station and New Delhi Railway Station.
