UPSC Prelims Answer Key 2023 Marking Scheme

UPSC uses a standard marking scheme to calculate the score of candidates. In the CSAT paper authorities simply check whether candidates are scoring above 33% marks out of 200 or not. In GS paper it takes into account average scores to prepare a cut off out of 200 which must be crossed by candidates. The UPSC prelims cut off for 2023 was 75.41 and the below marking scheme was used:
