WII Recruitment 2025 Educational Qualification

The post-wise essential qualification is as follows:

For Project Associate-I:

• Master’s Degree / Integrated Master’s in Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, or equivalent, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (GIS, IT, Data Science, Remote Sensing, etc.)

For Project Associate-II:

• Bachelor's / Master’s Degree / Integrated Master’s in a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

For Senior Project Associate:

• Master’s degree with 3-4 years of experience OR Ph.D. in a relevant field.

For Project Assistant / Fieldworker:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-year Diploma in Science/Engineering/Forestry disciplines.

Desirable Qualifications (varies per post):

• Fieldwork experience in wildlife/ecological research.
• Familiarity with GIS, data analysis, outreach, sea turtle studies, or lab work.
• Local language proficiency (for North East, Odisha, Sundarbans, Andaman/Nicobar-based projects).

NET/GATE Qualification: Candidates must possess a valid NET/GATE Score in the related specializations if required for the post.
