UPSC CSE Mains and Personality Test

Candidates who qualify for CSE Prelims 2027 can appear for the Civil Services Main Examination, subject to the applicable requirements. The CSE Main Examination 2027 is scheduled to begin on 20 August 2027 and will be conducted for five days.

Candidates who qualify in the Main Examination are called for the Personality Test. The final merit is prepared using the marks obtained in the Main Examination and Personality Test as prescribed by UPSC.

Candidates who qualify through the common Preliminary Examination and are admitted to the IFoS Main Examination proceed to the separate IFoS selection process.

Candidates who qualify in the written Main Examination are called for the Personality Test. The final merit is prepared based on the prescribed Main Examination and Personality Test marks.
