The Air Force Agniveer Age Limit for the Sports Quota is defined as follows:
Candidates must be born between 03 July 2004 and 03 January 2008 (both dates inclusive).
The maximum age on the date of enrollment should not exceed 21 years.
Candidates must fulfill one of the following educational qualifications:
10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English, securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, IT, etc.) with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
Two-year vocational course in Physics and Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
10+2 in any stream, securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
Two-year vocational course with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
Candidates must be citizens of India.

The Agniveervayu (Sports) scheme offers a unique opportunity for young athletes to serve in the Indian Air Force while pursuing their passion for sports. Selected candidates will receive structured training, financial benefits, and career growth opportunities.
Selected candidates will serve for 4 years as Agniveervayu (Sports).
After 4 years, up to 25% of Agniveers may be absorbed into the regular Indian Air Force based on performance.
First Year Pay: ₹30,000/month (₹21,000 in hand, ₹9,000 in savings).
Fourth Year Pay: ₹40,000/month (₹28,000 in hand, ₹12,000 in savings).
Seva Nidhi Package: Approx. ₹10.04 lakhs after 4 years.
Insurance Cover: ₹48 lakhs.
Medical & CSD Benefits: Full access to medical and canteen facilities.
Candidates cannot marry during the 4-year service period.
No pension or gratuity is provided.
