BArch Admission 2025 Through JEE Mains Exam
BArch Admission 2025 through the JEE Mains Exam is a common path for students aspiring to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture at leading institutes across India. Candidates have to appear for JEE Main Paper 2 (BArch). It assesses aptitude in mathematics, drawing, and architectural awareness. To appear for this exam, candidates require completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, or a recognized diploma with Mathematics as a subject, with at least 50% marks.
After qualifying JEE Main Paper 2, candidates participate in centralized counseling processes like JoSAA for seat allocation in institutes such as NITs, SPAs, and other top architecture colleges. The admission process includes application, entrance exam, merit list, counseling, and document verification, with each institute setting its own cut-off scores and selection criteria.
BArch Admission 2025 Through NATA Exam
Through NATA, candidats can get admission to BArch courses at numerous colleges and universities across India. To be eligible, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and at least one other subject such as Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, or hold a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics and 50% marks.
There is no centralized national counseling for NATA-based admissions. Qualified candidates have to apply separately to individual colleges or participate in state-level counseling processes. The best score from up to three NATA attempts in a year is considered for admission, and the NATA score remains valid for one academic year.
BArch Admission Process 2025
BArch admission is based on candidates’ qualification in major architecture entrance exams. Some colleges may also conduct their direct admkssion depending on the seat avaialability. Candidates have to register and appear for entrance exams such as NATA or JEE Main Paper 2. After the exams, merit lists are prepared based on entrance scores, and qualified candidates participate in counselling sessions for seat allocation. The final admission is granted after document verification and payment of fees.
AAT Exam 2025
AAT Exam 2025, or the Architecture Aptitude Test, is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for candidates aspiring to join the B.Arch program at IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIT (BHU) Varanasi. Only candidates who qualify the JEE Advanced 2025 are eligible to appear for AAT. The exam assesses candidates’ architectural awareness, drawing skills, and creative ability, serving as a crucial step for those aiming for architecture at the IITs. AAT 2025 will be held on 5 June 2025. Clearing the AAT is mandatory for admission to the B.Arch courses at the participating IITs. AAT Application Form
The AAT application form 2025 is available online at the official JEE Advanced website (jeeadv.ac.in) from 2 June 2025, 10:00 AM to 3 June 2025, 5:00 PM. Only candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced 2025 are eligible to apply for AAT. The application process requires candidates to log in using their JEE Advanced credentials, select their preferred exam centre, and confirm their details. No additional documents need to be uploaded, and no extra fee is charged for AAT registration. Once submitted, no corrections can be made to the application form, so careful entry of information is essential.
