 1. Bachelor of Design Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have either passed class 10th or 12th from a recognized board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). 
• Aspirants must have a 3-4 year diploma degree in the relevant fields such as Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Handloom Technology, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Multimedia Design, Apparel Technology, and Accessories. It must be recognized by AICTE, AIU, UGC, or a State Board of Technical Education, OR, 
• Alternatively, candidates who have passed the 12th/senior secondary examination recognized by AIU, AND, 
• Candidates must have completed a 2-year regular undergraduate diploma program at NIFT after 12th standard and are also eligible for NIFT Lateral Entry Admission 2026. 

2. Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech)

• Candidates must have passed class 10th or secondary school examination from a recognized board, AND, 
• They must have completed a 3 or 4-year diploma in relevant fields such as Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Home Science, or Handloom Technology. This degree must be recognized by AICTE, AIU, UGC, or a State Board of Technical Education, OR 
• Candidates must have passed class 12th recognized by AIU with Mathematics, AND, 
• Must have completed a 2-year UG diploma at NIFT after their 12th graduation.
