The CEED 2026 exam will be conducted in the following cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh/Mohali, Coimbatore, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Hubballi (Hubli), Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Visakhapatnam. During the online registration process, candidates are required to select three cities in order of preference.
A request for changes to the city will not be considered once the registration form has been submitted. Applicants will be allocated to their second or third preference city if a city may be removed from the final list if a significant number of applicants are not available there. The UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee (UCIC) maintains the authority to designate a city that the candidate may not have selected, add a new city, or remove an existing one.
CEED exam pattern 2026 includes a detailed structure of two distinctive parts, namely Part A and Part B. Part A is a computer-based test having objective questions such as Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). These types of questions are framed to evaluate candidates on their visual and spatial ability, analytical reasoning, and design sensitivity. Part B is a pen-and-paper mode test to assess skills in design, drawing, creativity, and problem identification through subjective questions. The total exam duration is 3 hours. CEED 2026 syllabus includes topics that assess not only creative aptitude but also practical design skills, analytical abilities, and design awareness. CEED 2026 syllabus is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. CEED Admit Card 2026 will be released online on the official CEED website on January 02, 2026, at 01:00 pm. Candidates must download it before the exam date. The admit card contains important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, and exam center. It is mandatory to carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination hall. Any discrepancies should be reported to the exam authorities immediately.
CEED 2026 results will be declared on March 04, 2026, on the official CEED portal. The result will include the candidate’s score, rank, and qualification status. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for admission or interviews at participating institutes. CEED scores are valid for one year and are used for admission into M.Des and PhD programs.
