CEED Exam 2026

CEED Exam 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, will publish the official notification of the CEED exam 2026 on its website at ceed.iitb.ac.in. CEED exam 2026 registration may start in October 2025. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can complete their application process through the official website.

CEED 2026 registration last date will be in October 2025, with an extended window for late fee till November 2025. For female candidates of all categories, along with SC/ST/PwD candidates, the CEED 2026 exam fees are Rs 2000, as earlier. Apart from them, all other candidates need to pay Rs 4000.

CEED exam 2026 is a national-level entrance exam for admission to PG design courses such as MDes and PhD at premier design colleges across India. The exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Bombay. The CEED 2026 exam dates will be notified once the notification is released.

CEED Application Form 2026

CEED application form 2026 is expected to be released in October 2025 on the official website at ceed.iitb.ac.in. For CEED exam 2026 registration, candidates need to visit the official website, fill in their details like name, contact information, academic qualifications, and upload the necessary documents such as a scanned photograph and signature. Final submission is done after paying the CEED exam 2026 fees as per the candidate’s category. 

CEED Eligibility Criteria 2026

IIT Bombay has laid down certain guidelines that candidates must meet before applying for the CEED exam 2026. CEED eligibility criteria 2026 are outlined below. 

  • Aspirants must have done a graduate/postgraduate/diploma degree with a minimum of 3 years after class 12th, OR,  
  • Candidates appearing for their final exam must have completed their degree in the above programs by July 2026, OR, 
  • Aspirants must have completed their GD Arts diploma program (10+5 level) by July 2026. 
  • There is no maximum limit for the number of attempts. 
  • IIT Bombay has no guidelines for age limitations. There is no age limit for candidates to appear for the CEED entrance exam. 

CEED Exam Pattern 2026

CEED exam pattern 2026 includes a detailed structure of two distinctive parts, namely Part A and Part B. Part A is a computer-based test having objective questions such as Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). These types of questions are framed to evaluate candidates on their visual and spatial ability, analytical reasoning, and design sensitivity. Part B is a pen-and-paper mode test to assess skills in design, drawing, creativity, and problem identification through subjective questions. The total exam duration is 3 hours. CEED 2026 syllabus includes topics that assess not only creative aptitude but also practical design skills, analytical abilities, and design awareness. CEED Admit Card 2026

CEED Admit Card 2026 will be expected to released online on the official CEED website in January 2026. Candidates must download it before the exam date. The admit card contains important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, and exam center. It is mandatory to carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination hall. Any discrepancies should be reported to the exam authorities immediately.

CEED Exam 2026 Result

CEED 2026 result is expected to be declared on the official CEED portal in March 2026. The result will include the candidate’s score, rank, and qualification status. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for admission or interviews at participating institutes. CEED scores are valid for one year and are used for admission into M.Des and PhD programs. Candidates can download their scorecard for future reference.
