Admission Process for NIFT Participating Institutes 2025
The admission process for NIFT participating institutes in 2025 involves the following key steps.
- Filling out the Application Form: Candidates must fill out the online application form available on the NIFT official website. This includes providing personal details, selecting desired programs, and uploading necessary documents such as photographs and signatures.
- Qualification of UCEED Entrance Exam: Eligible candidates are required to appear for the NIFT entrance exam, which consists of a written test (GAT and CAT) for B.Des and M.Des programs. The B.FTech, M.FTech, and MFM programs require only the GAT. The written exam is conducted in online mode, while the situation test for B.Des is held offline.
- Cutoff List: After the entrance exam, NIFT will release a cutoff list based on candidates' scores. Those who meet or exceed the cutoff marks will be eligible for counselling.
- Counselling Process: Eligible candidates will participate in the counselling process, where they can select their preferred institutes and courses based on their ranks. Seat allotment will occur during this stage.
- Document Verification & Fee Payment: After being allotted a seat, candidates must verify their documents and pay the requisite admission fees to confirm their enrollment in the chosen program.
