NITIE Mumbai Admission 2024 via GATE- Eligibility Criteria

• Valid GATE Scores: Applicants must have valid GATE 2024 scores.
• Academic Qualifications: Applicants should have secured at least 60% aggregate marks (with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD applicants) in a full-time Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) degree from a recognized university.
• Final-Year Students: Final-year engineering students can also apply, provided they meet the above criteria.

• Academic Qualifications: The academic qualifications must be equivalent to those required for Indian students.

Financial Assistance and Scholarships by NITIE

• Teaching Assistantship: All GATE-qualified applicants who secure admission will receive a Teaching Assistantship of Rs. 12,400 per month along with contingency expenditure as per the rules.
• Central Sector Scholarship: SC/ST applicants are eligible for the Central Sector Scholarship as per the Government of India's scheme, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.

Tuition Fee Waivers:

• 30% Waiver Scheme: Students with a total family income not exceeding Rs. 2.50 lakhs in the last financial year are eligible for a 30% waiver in tuition fees (academic charges). Family income includes the income of parents and spouses, if any.
