Historic Highest  Registrations For JEE Mains 2025 Session 1

JEE Main 2025 registration process has started on October 28, 2024. As per the latest data, till date, over 13 lakh 80 thousand students were able to successfully register for the first session. This year more than 13 lakh 80 thousand students have applied for the January session, which is 1 lakh 60 thousand more than last year, last year first Session registration no was 12 lakh 21 thousand 764 .

NTA JEE Main 2025 Latest Updates

NTA has released JEE Main 2025 Notification regarding the Session 1 examination at nta.ac.in. JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam is going to be conducted from January 22 to 30, 2025. JEE Main 2025 Application Form for Session 1 is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is November 22, 2024.

On October 17, 2024, the NTA released important updates regarding the JEE Main 2025. The official website for the exam has been launched at jeemain.nta.ac.in, where applicants can access all exam-related details and updates soon.

Additionally, the notification includes a crucial change in the exam format. The optional questions in Section B of the JEE Main 2025 have been discontinued, meaning test takers will now need to answer all questions in that section without any choices.

Is the JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern Changed?

Yes, the exam pattern has been revised. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the discontinuation of the optional question format in Section B, which was introduced during the pandemic. Previously, applicants could attempt any 5 out of 10 numerical questions in Section B of each subject. However, starting from JEE Main 2025, all 5 numerical questions in Section B will be mandatory, just like it was in the pre-2021 format.

The overall structure remains the same, with three primary sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section consists of 30 questions—20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in Section A and 10 numerical questions in Section B. However, the new JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025 requires applicants to answer all numerical questions in Section B without any choice.

• Step 2: Filling out the Application Form : Upon successful registration, applicants are required to fill out their personal, academic, and related details in the application form.
• Step 3: Uploading Documents : Applicants are also required to upload a recent photograph, signature, and necessary documents like category or PwD certificates (if applicable). All documents must meet the size and format specifications mentioned on the site.
• Step 4: Fee Payment : Finally, aspirants can pay the application fee online via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. After completing the payment, it’s important to print the confirmation page as proof of successful submission.
