Steps to fill CLAT 2025 Application Form

Step 1 : Registration with OTP

To complete your CLAT 2025 registration, follow these steps:
  1. Visit the official CLAT website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in .
  2. On the homepage, locate and click the CLAT 2025 link.
  3. Click on the “New Registration” button.
  4. Provide your registration details, including your contact number, email address, and a password.
  5. Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile number to activate your CLAT account.
Alternatively, go to https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/ where a notification will appear on the homepage. Click ‘CLICK HERE’ to access the application window. On the left side, select ‘Don’t have an account? Register’. In the registration form, enter the following details:
  • Name : As it appears on your academic documents (e.g., class 10th certificate or name change certificate).
  • Mobile Number : Provide a valid mobile number, either your own or that of a parent/guardian.
  • Password : Create a strong password with at least one numeral, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one symbol, and a minimum of 8 characters.

Step 2 - Account Activation

Candidates must enter the OTP sent to their mobile number to access the CLAT application form. Once this is done, the account activation window will show a confirmation message, and the CLAT 2025 login window will then appear.

Step 3 - Filling up the Application Form

Candidates should use their CLAT login credentials to complete the application form. After registering for CLAT 2025, they must upload a clear, front-facing photograph and a scanned copy of their signature. The file formats required are jpg/jpeg or PNG for both documents.

  • Correspondence Address : Enter your current residential address.
  • State/UT and District : Select from the dropdown menu.
  • PIN Code : Enter the postal code.
  • Permanent Address : Fill in the same details as the correspondence address if applicable.
  • Mobile Number and Email ID : Provide your contact details.

Qualifying Examination Details :

  • Examination Name : Enter the name of the qualifying exam.
  • Board/University : Specify the board or university.
  • Examination Status : Indicate if you have already appeared, are appearing, or have passed.
  • Month and Year of Passing : Select from the options provided.
  • Qualifying Marks : Enter the percentage of marks obtained.

Test Centre Preference : Select at least three cities from the CLAT 2025 test centre list in order of preference.

College Preferences : Rank the 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) in order of your preference.
