How to fill CLAT application form 2025

• Applicant Name : As per the class 10+2 certificate.
• Gender : Select your gender.
• Date of Birth : Enter in MM/DD/YY format.
• Father’s Name : Provide your father’s name.
• Mother’s Name : Provide your mother’s name.
• Nationality : Select your nationality.
• All India Category : Choose General, OBC, SC, or ST. If selecting a category other than General, upload a supporting document issued by a competent authority in PDF format (size less than 1.5 MB).
• PWD/BPL Status : Indicate if you belong to the PWD or BPL category. If yes, upload the relevant documents in PDF format (size not exceeding 1.5 MB).

Communication Details :

• Correspondence Address : Enter your current residential address.
• State/UT and District : Select from the dropdown menu.
• PIN Code : Enter the postal code.
• Permanent Address : Fill in the same details as the correspondence address if applicable.
• Mobile Number and Email ID : Provide your contact details.

Qualifying Examination Details :

• Examination Name : Enter the name of the qualifying exam.
• Board/University : Specify the board or university.
• Examination Status : Indicate if you have already appeared, are appearing, or have passed.
• Month and Year of Passing : Select from the options provided.
• Qualifying Marks : Enter the percentage of marks obtained.

Test Centre Preference : Select at least three cities from the CLAT 2025 test centre list in order of preference.

College Preferences : Rank the 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) in order of your preference.

Reservation : If applicable, choose the reservation quota for each NLU and provide the necessary details if applying under a reserved category.

Step 4 - Fee payment

• After completing the application form, click the green 'Make Payment' button on your dashboard.
• A pop-up window will appear for payment processing. Select the appropriate option and proceed to complete the payment.
