ILSAT 2024: The ICFAI Law School in Hyderabad administers the ICFAI Law School Admission Test (ILSAT 2024) in a computer-based mode. This test is for admission to the BBA LLB (Hons) and BA LLB (Hons) programs offered at ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) in Hyderabad. The application process for ILSAT 2024 is expected to start soon and will be available on the official website, ifheindia.org. Once the application process begins, candidates need to fill it out before the deadline. The exam is expected to be held in 18 cities across India. What is ILSAT?

ICFAI Law Admission Test (ILSAT) is conducted by the ICFAI Law School for admission to undergraduate law courses. It is a computer-based test covering subjects like English, logical reasoning, legal reasoning, GK / Current Affairs, and analytical reasoning. Admission to the program is based on merit in the ILSAT, performance in the personal interview, and previous academics. Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in CLAT/ LSAT India exams are exempted from taking the ILSAT for UG law courses. Their admission will be based on their CLAT/ LSAT India score followed by a personal interview.

ILSAT 2024 Application Form

The application process of ILSAT has three modes:
  1. Online Application: Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at ifheindia.org/fol and make payment of INR 1000 using Credit/ Debit Card (Visa/Master Card/Internet Banking). They should upload their passport-size color photograph while filling the Online Application. The Law Programs Prospectus will be sent to them.
  2. Download Application Form: Applicants can download the Application Form from ifheindia.org/fol and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Bank Demand Draft of INR 1,000 drawn on Scheduled Commercial Bank. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “IFHE-Prospectus Fee A/c ILSAT 2024” payable at Hyderabad. The Law Programs Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.
  3. Fill the Application Form: Applicants can fill in the application form given on page 7 and send it to the Admissions Office.

ILICAT Eligibility Criteria 2024

Here are the requirements for ILSAT 2024:
  1. Education: Candidates must have passed Class XII or equivalent with at least 50% marks in a single attempt in any discipline and in English medium.
  2. Pending Results: Students who appeared for their Class XII (or equivalent) final exams before July 01, 2024, and are awaiting results can also apply.
  3. ILSAT Qualification: Applicants must have cleared the ILSAT 2024 conducted by ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad.
  4. Age: Candidates should not be older than 21 years at the start of Semester I. However, any changes to the age limit by the BCI will be followed. The date of birth mentioned in the Secondary School Certificate will be considered authentic.

ILSAT Admission Process 2024

Here's how you can get admitted through ILSAT 2024:

Step 1: Apply for ILSAT Exam You can apply online on the IFHE, Hyderabad website or download the application form. Pay the application fee online or offline. If you're applying based on CLAT/ LSAT India, mention your score, rank, and application number on the form.

Step 2: Download ILSAT Admit Card After registration, download your admit card from the IFHE, Hyderabad website. It's compulsory to bring your admit card to the exam centre. Without it, you won't be allowed to take the test.

Step 3: Appear for ILSAT Go to your assigned exam centre on time with your admit card and a valid ID.

Step 4: Check ILSAT Results Once the exam is over, check the ILSAT 2024 result on the IFHE website. It'll list the candidates selected for the next round.

Step 5: Appear for Personal Interview Round Candidates who pass the exam will have a personal interview. Those with a valid rank in CLAT/ LSAT India don't need to take this round.
