Before applying, make sure you know all the details. For 3-year LLB, you need a 3-year graduation degree from a recognized university in Maharashtra. The passing marks are
45%, with exceptions
for different categories.
For 5-year LLB, you should have passed
10th and 12th standard exams.
The minimum passing marks are the same, and the education pattern should be (10+2). There should be a gap of not less than two years between the 10th and 12th standards.
The candidate should be an Indian national, and postgraduate diplomas won't be considered equivalent to a postgraduate degree. Candidates from outside Maharashtra will be considered as
open-category candidates,
irrespective of their caste/category.
Different types of candidates are considered under MH CET Law 2024, including Maharashtra state candidature, All India category, Foreign nationals, NRI/OCI and PIO card holders, Minority category, and J&K category.

Candidates with Indian nationality can apply under the All India category. Domicile certificates should be from the state where the candidate belongs.
Minority Category
Maharashtra-domiciled candidates belonging to a particular linguistic or religious minority community are eligible under this category.
Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Category
Candidates can claim reservation under this category based on their displacement due to terrorist activities or if they are children of officers and staff involved in combating terrorism.
MH CET Law 2024 Age Criteria
There is no specific age limit for LLB admission to 3-year or 5-year programs. However, final decisions on admissions are subject to various writ petitions.
