TANCET 2024 Ranks Allocation Process
The DTE, Chennai, ranks TANCET test takers based on their exam scores. To maintain a fair evaluation of candidates, TANCET scores are normalised to assign a percentile score to each candidate. Further, candidates receive their rank based on the percentile scores. Additionally, candidates’ category ranks are determined by the TANCET test scores in each category. Candidate with the highest TANCET percentile score receives the first rank, followed by the second-highest scorer, and so on. Those who receive a high TANCET rank are able to secure admission in their preferred institute. TANCET Tie-Breaker Criteria 2024 If two or more candidates achieve the same marks and percentile in TANCET 2024, the DTE will apply tie-breaking criteria to allocate their ranks.
