XAT Exam Analysis 2024

XAT Exam Analysis 2024: XAT exam 2024 is scheduled for January 7. The XAT 2024 will be administered by XLRI Jamshedpur for MBA admissions on behalf of the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI). Candidates who qualify for the XAT are eligible to seek admission in XLRI institutes and other private B-schools in India.

Primarily,  XAT 2024 exam was conducted on January 7, 2024, by Xavier School of Management, formerly Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), at designated XAT exam centers spread in around 75 cities. The exam was conducted in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM . The overall exam was moderate to difficult, and some questions asked in the exam were lengthy as well as tricky. The section-wise analysis of XAT 2024 Exam is as follows: VALR was relatively easy while DM and QADI were moderately difficult.

The XAT exam consists of three parts. The first part includes Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, with a total time limit of 175 minutes. The second part consists of Mock Keyboard Testing, with a 5-minute time constraint. The third part of the XAT exam includes General Knowledge and Essay Writing, covering a 30-minute time frame. In the XAT exam 2023, the overall duration was increased by 20 minutes. Additionally, the exam timing was changed from 9:30 am-12:40 pm to 2 pm-5:30 pm. The VALR section in XAT 2023 comprised 26 questions. While the overall difficulty level of this section was considered easy, the 12 RC questions were moderately challenging. This section also included two poem-based questions categorised as easy. The remaining 12 questions covered topics such as Grammar, Para Jumbles, and Critical Reasoning.
