NEET Qualifying Code 1

This code is for candidates appearing for their  Class 12 board examination in 2025 . These students are provisionally eligible to take the NEET exam. However, they must pass their Class 12 exam with the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) and percentage before the NEET counseling process begins.

NEET Qualifying Code 2

Code 2 is for candidates who have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board in India. Their coursework must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. This is the most commonly used code as it applies to students who have passed the standard Higher Secondary Examination. Candidates must ensure they meet the minimum aggregate marks required for NEET eligibility, which is 50% for general category students and lower for reserved categories.

NEET Qualifying Code 3

Candidates who have passed their Intermediate or Pre-degree examination in Science from a recognized Indian university or board should select Code 3. Their examination must include subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. This code is typically applicable to candidates who have taken a pre-degree course equivalent to Class 12.

NEET Qualifying Code 4

This code applies to candidates who have completed their Pre-professional or Pre-medical examination after passing their Higher Secondary Examination. The pre-professional program should include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, along with practical components. Students with such qualifications often undergo additional preparation to meet NEET eligibility.

NEET Qualifying Code 5

Code 5 is for candidates who have completed the first year of a Bachelor’s degree in a program that includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. The first year of the degree program must also involve practical examinations in these subjects. Candidates selecting this code must ensure that their degree program aligns with NEET eligibility requirements.

NEET Qualifying Code 6

Aspirants who have completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with at least two of the three subjects—Physics, Chemistry, or Biology—and have passed Class 12 with all the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) fall under Code 6. This code is applicable to students with a science-focused academic background and advanced qualifications.

NEET Qualifying Code 7

This code is for students who have completed qualifications equivalent to the Class 12 Higher Secondary Examination in India. These include foreign students or those who have pursued international education systems like the IB or A-levels, provided their subjects and marks align with NEET eligibility criteria. Candidates must verify their qualification equivalency through the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) before applying.
