Seat Allotment Rules & Options for UP CNET Counselling 2025
After allotment, candidates must choose one of the following options:
Option 1 (Freeze): Accept seat & exit from further rounds
Option 2 (Float): Accept seat & opt for seat upgrade in next round
Option 3 (Decline): Reject current seat & participate in next round
Note : Failure to select an option or report to college within the deadline will lead to forfeiture of fees and allotted seat.
Seat Cancellation & Refund Rules
Failure to resign between 12–17 July 2025 or to report after the mop-up round will result in forfeiture of both the ₹5,000 security and ₹40,000 seat confirmation fees.
If a candidate does not resign during the resignation window (12–17 July 2025), both the ₹5,000 security fee and the ₹40,000 seat confirmation fee will be forfeited.
Candidates failing to report after mop-up round will also lose their fees and seat.
