IGKO Syllabus 2025: As the International General Knowledge Olympiad dates have been announced by the Science Olympiad Foundation. As per the officials, IGKO 2025 is scheduled for 25th September, 8th October and 7th November 2025.
It is time for the candidates to kick start the preparation. Candidates who aim to appear for the SOF IGKO exam and clear the olympiad with flying marks, which is definitely possible if they clearly understand the IGKO Syllabus 2025.
The SOF IGKO exam comprises various sections, and the number of questions and total scores for every question depending on the class (1 to 10).

Through IGKO Olympiad candidates knowledge and understanding of social and political developments, current affairs, geography, static gk and other ongoing events are examined.
The IGKO Syllabus has been prepared following the protocol of NEP (2020), NCF (2023), NCERT, and CBSE guidelines. It consists of four sections: General Awareness, Current Affair, Life Skills and Achievers Section.

The International General Knowledge Olympiad Syllabus 2025 varies slightly between lower classes (1 to 4) and higher classes (5 to 10), with the exam consisting of multiple-choice questions.

The International General Knowledge Olympiad level 1 is of 60 minutes duration
35 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for classes 1 to 4
50 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for classes 5 to class 10.
IGKO Olympiad medium is English Only.
