Eligibility Criteria for NSE 2026 Registrations

Before submitting your application form, verify that you meet the age and academic parameters defined by IAPT and HBCSE.

Senior Olympiads (NSEP, NSEC, NSEB & NSEA)

  • Date of Birth: Born between July 1, 2007, and June 30, 2012 (both dates inclusive).

  • Class of Study: Studying in Class 10, Class 11, or Class 12 as of November 30, 2026.

  • Academic Standard: Must not have passed Class 12 board exams before November 30, 2026.

  • Citizenship: Must be eligible to hold an Indian passport and residing/studying in India since November 30, 2024, or earlier.

Junior Olympiad (NSEJS)

  • Date of Birth: Born between January 1, 2012, and December 31, 2013 (both dates inclusive).

  • Class of Study: Studying in Class 8, Class 9, or Class 10 as of November 30, 2026.

  • Syllabus: Covers Physics, Chemistry, and Biology up to Class 10 level (CBSE curriculum).

How to Complete NSE 2026 Registrations Process

Students can apply using either of the two official channels available on the IAPT website.

Option A: Enrolment Through School/Centre

  1. Check if your school or a nearby institution is an authorized IAPT examination centre.

  2. Contact the school Centre In-Charge before September 14, 2026.

  3. Fill out the offline/internal form and submit the ₹300 registration fee per subject directly to the school.

Option B: Individual Student Direct Online Registration

  1. Visit the official registration link: [https://iapt.manageexam.com/Student2026/NEW](https://iapt.manageexam.com/Student2026/NEW).

  2. Register as a new student by entering your name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number.

  3. Select the examination subject(s) you wish to take (e.g., Physics + Chemistry, or Junior Science).

  5. Complete the online payment per paper using UPI, Debit Card, or Net Banking.

  6. Save and print your payment reference receipt and registration confirmation page.

What is the deadline for completing NSE 2026 Registrations?

The last date for student enrolment for all NSE papers (NSEJS, NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, NSEA) is September 14, 2026.

Can a student appear for both NSEJS and NSEP in 2026?

No. Students who register for NSEJS 2026 are not allowed to appear in any senior NSE examinations (NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, or NSEA) during the same academic year.

Can Class 10 students apply for senior NSE exams like NSEP or NSEC?

Yes. Students in Class 10 can choose to appear for senior subjects (NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, or NSEA) provided they meet the age criteria (born between July 1, 2007, and June 30, 2012). However, they cannot take NSEJS if they choose senior exams.

What should I do if my school is not registered as an IAPT exam centre?
