The examination is conducted online. Students appearing for the final exam need a laptop or desktop with a reliable internet connection and webcam. Class 1 students can take the examination with parent or teacher assistance.
Students from Classes 1 to 11 can participate in the UMO. There is no minimum marks requirement mentioned for participation.

If a school is not registered, it can contact Unicus Olympiads to get information about the registration process.
Students whose schools do not conduct the Olympiad can register individually. The individual registration process is completed online.
For the final examination, students need:

The final examination cannot be taken using a mobile phone.
