10) (a + b + c) 2 = a 2 + b 2 + c 2 + 2ab + 2bc + 2ca

Linear equation in one variable:

An equation involving a variable in the first degree is called a linear equation in one variable. It is of the form ax + b = 0, a≠0, x is variable.

X= -b/a is the root or solution of this equation.

Quadratic Equation:

An equation of the form ax2 + bx + c = 0, where a, b, c are constant and a≠0, is called a quadratic equation in one variable ‘x’.
