SSC Stenographer Exam Cancelled 2025: A notice has been issued on the SSC’s central region official website. It is to inform the candidates regarding the SSC Stenographer exam cancelled 2025. The stenographer exam’s first shift has been cancelled on 8th August 2025. It happened due to the operational challenges at the Maharshi Mehi Online Examination Centre located in Sabour, Bhagalpur, NH-80, Opposite Geeta Heero Showroom, Bhagalpur, Bihar, India – 813210. SSC Steno first shift exam has been cancelled and rescheduled to be held on the 11th August 2025 in the first shift. Candidates will get their re-exam admit cards for the stenographer exam.

The Staff Selection Commission has issued an official notice informing candidates that the SSC Stenographer exam cancelled 2025. Many candidates are worried and confused regarding the news broke of the SSC Stenographer exam cancelled 2025. It happened at the Maharshi Mehi Online Examination Centre in Bhagalpur. This is the second time in 2025 that SSC has decided to cancel any recruitment exam after the SSC Selection Post Phase 13 exam.

Maharshi Mehi Online Examination Centre has faced some operational issues on the 8th August 2025s in the first shift exam. Candidates have been informed through the notice to cancel the steno exam 2025. SSC has confirmed through the notice provided online. The commission has informed that admit cards will be provided to the candidates for the re-exam.

Candidates who have applied for the SSC recruitments are worried about their future. It is happening due to the SSC's negligence in conducting recruitment exams. Earlier, the SSC Selection Post Phase 13 exam 2025 was cancelled due to administrative and technical issues. This time SSC Stenographer exam 2025 has been cancelled, and a notice has been issued on the portal. The reason cited was that operational challenges created an issue in conducting the steno first shift exam at Maharshi Mehi Online Examination Centre, Bhagalpur.

SSC Stenographer New Exam Date has been provided in the official notice. The exam will happen on 11th August 2025 in the first shift. It will be organised at the same exam centre, Maharshi Mehi Online Examination Centre in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Candidates will be informed regarding the Stenographer hall ticket release date on the website. They can access the Stenographer admit card 2025 using the registration number and password.

Impact on SSC Stenographer Aspirants

Chalo Delhi March is a nationwide movement started by the educators and SSC candidates to stand against the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). This outrage and anger burst out when the SSC Selection Post Phase 13 exam was cancelled in multiple locations from 24th July to 1st August 2025. SSC faced backlash due to the negligence in conducting the exam.

 The commission provided a tender to Eduequity, a blacklisted company. SSC against released an exam cancellation notice for the Stengrapher exam on 8th August 2025. Candidates who applied for the SSC recruitments will be given the exam in future. They are anxious about the SSC's actions on the sudden cancellation of the exams. It has created unwanted stress and trauma among the candidates preparing for SSC exams. 

The commission shared that they will not cancel any exam in future after the selection post phase 13. However, the SSC Stenographer exam cancellation news has created disappointment and trust issues among the candidates. Candidates are waiting for any clarification from the SSC side regarding the CGL and CHSL exams.
