Describe a situation When You Helped Someone Sample 1

Here is the first sample answer for your cue card: "Describe a situation When You Helped Someone." You can arrange your answer in this way. Introduction I'd like to share one of my experiences helping a poor stranger. This happened last summer as I was walking near the downtown market. When was the situation where you helped someone? Last August, I went to a cafe to see an old school classmate. While traveling down the busy street, I noticed an afraid lady sitting alone. How did you come to know about the need for help? When I saw her in such trouble, I asked whether everything was okay. She agreed and said that she had just been to the city. But she couldn't find the hotel, and her phone was constantly off. What did you do to help? She was under a lot of stress, which appeared on her face, so I chose to help her. I got the address and promised her that I would get her to the hotel. What was the outcome of the help? After a few minutes of traveling, we discovered the hotel's location. Her expression was full of joy. She thanked me several times, which made me feel good that I was able to assist someone and send them in the right direction. Conclusion This experience has shown me how important it is to recognize and help those in need. We may significantly help others by putting effort into a small amount of time in our own lives.

Describe a situation When You Helped Someone Sample 2

Here is the second sample answer to help you gain a sense of how to communicate your ideas during your test. Introduction We all live in a culture that dates back to prehistory, therefore we depend on the help of others to grow both professionally and socially. The absence of community and support during a crisis, natural disaster, or other difficulty would have made things much more difficult. Who you helped? I saw a pregnant lady and her 2- to 3-year-old kid on my way home from music class around two months ago. She was holding a kid and carrying a big grocery bag. She struggled to carry her newborn due to the weight of the bag. As a result, I went to her immediately and tried to help her by carrying all of her bags. How did you help? She was initially apprehensive of my sudden entrance. It is fair to be careful around strangers. If I were in her situation, I would do the same. Then she decided it was okay to hand me the baggage. As a result, she thanked me ahead and gave me her baggage, which I carried to her house. Explain how this person reacted to your help. She gave me a cup of coffee and even convinced me to stay for dinner when we got there, but I politely declined because I needed to return home. Explain how you feel after helping this person. I was running late going home, but I was glad I could help others who needed it. Conclusion Finally, completing a selfless act makes me feel more comfortable and positive about things. Thus, I hope that everybody will help one another regularly for our mutual benefit.

Describe a situation When You Helped Someone FAQs

Q1 - How do you feel when you help someone?

Ans - When we help others, we feel satisfied and happy, and the act of giving causes the brain to generate endorphins, the body's natural "feel-good" hormones. These endorphins produce an enjoyable feeling in the body, similar to the pleasure felt after exercise and laughter.

Q2 - How do you describe a helping person?

Ans - Many describe this as 'altruistic'—people who always appear to have the desire to help the world in general, concentrating on being helpful in ways that not only support but also offer self-fulfillment. Knowing that we have helped someone or improved their mood is one of the best feelings.

Q3 - What happens when you help someone?

Ans - Helping others is regarded to be one of the ways people form, maintain, and develop social bonds. Volunteering and assisting others, for example, can help us feel more connected to our communities, meet new friends, and get a sense of duty.

Q4 - What is an example of a time you had to help someone?

Ans - The ideal answer to this question shows your kindness and concern for others. Example: "I once remained late at work just to help a colleague with a large assignment that was due the next day. I finished my task early and didn't mind helping."
