REET Mains Exam Eligibility

REET Mains short  Notification has been published, and the detailed notification will be available soon, which will specify the eligibility, syllabus, and exam pattern in a more explanatory way. As of now, we are considering the previous years’ REET Mains Exam Eligibility criteria. Candidates wishing to appear for the REET Mains Exam 2025 must meet specific eligibility criteria as detailed in the official notification. 

• For Level 1 (Primary Teacher, Classes 1–5), applicants must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or an equivalent qualification as per NCTE norms. They must also have qualified in the REET 2025 Level 1 examination.

•  For Level 2 (Upper Primary Teacher, Classes 6–8), candidates must hold a Graduation degree along with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or have a Graduation degree with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed., in addition to being REET 2025 Level 2 qualified. 

• The minimum age requirement is 21 years, and the maximum is 40 years as of January 1, 2027, with age relaxation provided for reserved categories as perthe  Rajasthan government rules. 

REET Mains Exam Date 2025

REET Mains Notification 2025 is a short pubic notice which was announced on 17 July, 2025 by the conducting authority. Candidates can go through the short notice and check the information given there. The REET Mains exam date will be announced soon by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board. Candidates should start preparing for the exam as it will target various teaching posts in primary and upper primary schools in Rajasthan

REET Mains 2025 Application Form

REET Mains 2025 Application Form will soon be available online through the official Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) website—rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates eligible for Level 1 (Primary Teacher: Classes 1–5), Level 2 (Upper Primary: Classes 6–8), or both, must register separately for each level as needed. As per the past years’ process, the process is supposed to be  fully digital and consists of several steps:

• Online Registration: Visit the official website, click on the REET application link, and register using your SSO ID (or create one if needed).

• Fee Payment: Generate a challan for the application fee

• Document Upload: Upload the documents, ensuring they meet size specifications.

• Form Completion: Fill in personal, examination, and educational details as required. Confirm details match your eligibility documents.

• Final Submission: Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference

REET Mains 2025 Selection Process

REET Mains 2025 exam, conducted by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, will be held soon to recruit Primary (Level 1) and Upper Primary (Level 2) teachers for 7,759 vacancies. The selection process is based solely on the written exam score, with no weightage for academic records, followed by document verification. After the exam, REET Certificates will be made available after the results have been declared for all the qualified candidates.
