TISSNET 2024 Exam

The TISSNET Full Form is the Tata Institute of Social Science National Entrance Test. The candidates who wish to get admission to a 3-year Integrated B.Ed M.Ed course have to qualify for the TISSNET 2024 Exam. The basic eligibility is qualifying for a Bachelor’s degree with atleast 55% marks from a recognised university. The course has 50 seats for the Integrated course. Several factors like total seats, difficulty level of the questions asked and total applicants affect the minimum cut off marks. TISSNET 2024 Seat Matrix

The admission to candidates qualifying for the TISSNET 2024 is offered in four colleges namely, TISS Mumbai, TISS Tuljapur, TISS Hyderabad and TISS Guwahati. However, the admission to B.Ed programme is offered only by the Centre of Excellence in Teacher Education. The college has only fifty seats for the Integrated B.Ed M.Ed programme. The candidates securing high marks in the TISS entrance exam enable one to get admission.

TISSNET Admission Process 2024

The TISSNET 2024 admission process is extremely simple and has two stages, a written exam and a counselling process. The candidates have to secure high marks in the entrance examination. The successful candidates are called to attend the counselling round. The admission to the course is based on marks secured followed by seniority. Candidates who fail to qualify for the written exam and counselling round will not be considered for final selection.

TISSNET 2024 Colleges

The admission to the integrated B.Ed M.Ed programme in TISS Colleges is offered based on the TISSNET 2024 Exam score. Candidates who score high marks in the entrance exam are offered admission to the college. Presently, only the Centre of Excellence in Teacher Education is offering admission to the Integrated B.Ed course. The B.Ed course comes with a duration of 3 years and has been recognised by NCTE.
