TISSNET Eligibility 2024, Age Limit, Educational Qualification

TISSNET Eligibility 2024: Tata Institute of Social Science releases the TISSNET Eligibility 2024 for the candidates aspiring for admission to a 3-year B.Ed course. The college conducts TISSNET (TISS National Entrance Test) offering admission to candidates having the basic TISSNET Eligibility 2024. The eligibility comprises factors like age limit, educational qualification, maximum attempts etc. Candidates who qualify for all the criteria prescribed in the TISSNET 2024 Eligibility are considered to appear in the entrance examination.

TISSNET Eligibility 2024

TISSNET Eligibility 2024 is announced along with the official notification of the examination. The eligibility criteria consist of basic factors like age limit, educational qualification, domicile, and maximum attempts. Candidates aspiring to appear for the upcoming exam have to qualify for each of these factors. Only those who can do this are called to attempt the examination. Presently, the college offers admission to 3 3-year Integrated B.Ed M.Ed programme.

TISSNET Age Limit

As per the official TISSNET Eligibility 2024, there is no age limit to apply for the entrance examination. The candidates can apply for the entrance examination if they qualify for other factors.

TISSNET Educational Qualification

The minimum TISSNET Educational Qualification is having a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Other than this, the candidates should also qualify for the TISSNET Eligibility 2024 as furnished below.

• The candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, etc. There are no minimum aggregate marks for the candidates
• Candidates who are in the final year of their Graduation degree are also allowed to apply for the TISSNET 2024. However, they have to produce their mark sheets and certificates original copies before the board
• To successfully appear in the TISSNET 2024 Exam, the candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree of minimum 3 years from a university granted by UGC
• Candidates with degrees in other vocational and professional courses are also allowed to apply for the programme

TISSNET Scribe Qualification

There is no mention of scribes in the TISSNET Eligibility 2024 for the candidates who are visually or orthopaedically impaired appearing in the examination.

TISSNET Maximum Attempts

As long as candidates satisfy other TISSNET Eligibility 2024 factors, they are allowed to appear in the examination. There is no provision for a maximum number of attempts for the TISS NET Exam.

TISSNET Experience

There is no mention of experience for the upcoming TISSNET 2024 examination. Candidates who have graduated freshly are also allowed to apply for the entrance test.

TISSNET Reservation Policy

• The candidates who belong to the EWS Category will have 10% of the seats reserved
• Those who belong to Schedule Caste will be having 15% of the seats
• Out of 7.5% of the seats will be reserved for the candidates who belong to the  Scheduled Tribes (ST)
• Around 27% of the total seats have been reserved for the OBC (Other Backward Class) category candidates
• As per the TISSNET Eligibility 2024, around 5% of the seats are reserved for persons with visual, orthopaedic or hearing disabilities
• Candidates who belong to the Armed forces category i.e. Children/ widows of personnel Armed/ Paramilitary Forces killed/ disabled in action will have 5% of their total seats reserved

TISSNET 2024 Online Registration

The candidates who fulfill all the TISSNET Eligibility 2024 will be allowed to complete the online registration formalities. The online registration link for the TISSNET 2024 exam will be active soon for the eligible candidates. Candidates completing the online registration before the deadline will be able to attempt the entrance examination.

TISSNET Selection Process 2024

There are two rounds in the selection process of TISSNET 2024, written examination and counselling round. The entrance exam will be held first followed by the counselling round. The candidates aspiring for admission to the 3-year Integrated B.Ed M.Ed programme will have to qualify for the selection process. Those who fail to qualify for any of the levels will not be allowed admission to the course.
