National Sports Awards 2024 were presented by Droupadi Murmu, the President of India on 17th January 2025 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has announced the National Sports Awards 2024 winner names in six categories. Four athletes were honored with the Major Dhyanchand Khel Ratna Award , the highest sports honor in India.

On January 17, 2024, President Droupadi Murmu conferred the National Sports Awards at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. Four athletes were honored with the prestigious Major Dhyanchand Khel Ratna Award, including chess champion D Gesh, shooter Manu Bakar, hockey star Harmanpreet Singh, and para-athlete Pran Kumar . The ceremony also recognized 34 athletes with the Arjuna Award for outstanding performance, alongside coaches Subash R, Deepali Deshpande, and Sandeep Sangan, who received the Dronacharya Award.
