The preliminary qualified candidates are invited to appear for the SBI Clerk 2025 Mains Exam at the examination centre across the nation.

As per the SBI Clerk Mains Exam Date, the exam is scheduled for 2 shifts each day, Shift 1 (9 am to 11.40 am) and Shift 2 (2.30 pm to 5.10 pm). There are 190 multiple-choice questions; except for the test of General English, all sections are in bilingual, i.e., English & Hindi. There will be negative marks of 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.. Candidates are required to bring their SBI Clerk Mains Call Letter 2025 along with one form of photo ID Proof.

As the SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2025 starts tomorrow, aspirants must prioritize high-weightage chapters and follow all the exam-related instructions. Here is the important information related to SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2025 Day Guidelines, Do’s and Don’t on the SBI Clerk Mains Exam Day.

  • Reach the SBI Clerk Mains Exam Centre a few minutes before the reporting time specified in the call letter. Latecomers will not be allowed to attempt the test. 

  • Firmly affix your latest passport-size photograph (the same as uploaded in the online application form) in the provided space in the call letter and carry 2 additional photographs, photo identity proof in original and a photocopy to the SBI Clerk Mains exam hall.

  • The candidate's signature must match the signature uploaded during registration. 

  • The SBI Clerk Mains Call Letter will not be collected at the exam hall. However, it will be duly authenticated/stamped by the officials. The candidate must retain the admit card (along with an authenticated/stamped copy of the ID proof) safely. 

  • No calculator, separate or with the watch, cell phone, books, smartwatch, slide rule, notebooks, or written notes will be permitted inside the exam hall.

  • Do not leave your seat unless you are permitted.

  • Candidates must do all the required rough work on the sheets provided. The rough sheets should be submitted at the exam premises after the completion of the exam.

  • Any kind of copying/misconduct/unfair practices will directly lead to the disqualification of the candidature.

For IRIS Capture:

(a) ‘LEFT EYE (IRIS)’ will be captured for all the candidates. 

(b) Candidates should remove Contact Lenses and Spectacles while capturing IRIS. Candidates are advised to avoid wearing contact lenses and prefer spectacles.

For Biometric Capture:

(a) If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/coloured...etc), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the examination day. 

(b) If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash and dry them before the thumb impression (biometric) is captured. 

(c) Ensure the fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them. (d) If the primary finger (Right thumb) to be captured is injured/damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in the test centre. (Any failure to observe these points will result in non-admittance for the examination.) For VI candidates, Photograph capture and Biometric capture of the right thumb impression will be done.
