The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is a qualifying exam for admission to various design programs in India. Many institutes utilize CEED scores for their admission process, and these are categorized as "result-sharing institutes." CEED 2025 Result Sharing Institutes are not part of the Joint Admission Process conducted by IIT Bombay. The list of result-sharing institutes may change yearly, and candidates should check the official websites of the institutes for the most up-to-date information. For the 2025-26 academic session, the following institutes are part of the CEED result sharing institutes.
CEED 2025 Participating institutes are those that accept CEED scores for their Master of Design (M.Des) and Ph.D. programs, and they play a significant role in the admissions process. Candidates must apply directly to these institutes after the results are announced, as there is no centralized admission process for CEED. A total of eight institutes will participate in CEED 2025, offering a combined intake of over 300 seats for M.Des courses.
The CEED 2025 seat matrix provides essential information regarding the number of seats available for admission to various design programs at participating institutes. It also outlines the distribution of seats across different categories, including General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD. Understanding the seat matrix is crucial for candidates as it helps them assess their chances of admission based on their CEED scores and the availability of seats in their preferred institutions. Unlike UCEED, the CEED 2025 exam does not have a joint seat allocation process conducted by IIT Bombay. Instead, each participating institute manages its own counseling and admissions procedure. Candidates who obtain a merit rank in CEED 2025 must apply directly to the participating institutes through their respective admission portals. After the CEED 2025 results are announced, candidates need to visit the admission portals of their preferred institutes, complete the counseling registration form, and upload their scorecards and required documents.
IIT Bombay has outlined the eligibility criteria for admission through CEED 2025 in its official notification at www.ceed.iitb.ac.in. It includes certain academic qualifications and age limits, which candidates must meet to be eligible for the exam and subsequent admission. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear for the CEED 2025 exam. The eligibility criteria include the following parameters.
Note: While CEED has its own eligibility requirements, the eligibility criteria for admission to a participating institute may differ. Candidates are requested to refer to the admission criteria for the respective institutes before appearing in the CEED 2025 entrance exam.
