How PW’s Architecture Creators Pro Batch Helped Abaad Khan

Abaad Khan’s journey to 99.78 percentile in JEE Main 2026 B.Arch reflects how a focused preparation strategy can help turn an average first attempt into a stronger result. After scoring around 86 percentile in B.Arch in 2025, he decided to take a drop and prepare specifically for architecture.

During his drop year, Abaad followed PW’s Architecture Creators Pro batch and used classes, DPPs, modules, mock tests, and revision as part of his preparation. His performance improved significantly, and he secured 99.78 percentile in JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 (B.Arch).

During the interview, he discussed his preparation journey, consistency, use of PW resources, approach to Mathematics and Drawing, and plans for the next stage of his academic journey.

How Abaad Khan Chose Architecture After His First Attempt

Abaad's interest in architecture already existed before he decided to take a drop. After his 2025 result, he chose to focus specifically on B.Arch and use the additional year to improve his preparation.

Explaining the decision, he said:

“So actually maine drop ye liya tha. Maine 2025 mein JEE B.Arch ke liye hi aur means BTech ke liye bhi preparation ki thi. But BTech mein mera nahi ho paya aur B.Arch mein uss samay mera kam percentile aaya tha. Around 86 percentile. But uske baad maine socha ki I should take a drop, and I should work on architecture because architecture ka mera pehle se bahut ruchi tha.”

His interest in Mathematics and Drawing, along with guidance from people he knew in the architecture field, helped him settle on this direction. Instead of treating the earlier result as an endpoint, Abaad used it to identify a more suitable path and committed to improving his performance.

How Abaad Khan Built Consistency in His Preparation

Once he decided to focus on architecture, consistency became an important part of Abaad's preparation. He followed his lectures and worked on DPPs, while keeping additional practice and revision in his routine.

For Mathematics, which he initially found challenging, he gradually built confidence by consistently following the available lectures, attempting DPPs and taking tests.

He explained:

“Lecture videos jo bhi provide hote hain PW se jo bhi mere ko mile the un sabko maine follow kiya tha. DPPs aur phir test jo jitne ho sakte hain wo maine try kiye the dene ke. Aur aise-aise karte-karte consistency se aap karte jaayenge to ek time pe aapko samajh mein aane lagega.”

This approach helped him turn an area where he initially faced difficulty into a stronger part of his preparation. Rather than expecting improvement immediately, he focused on repeatedly engaging with the subject through classes, practice and tests.

How PW Supported Abaad Khan’s JEE Paper 2 Preparation

Abaad's association with PW began well before his architecture-focused preparation. He had been connected with PW since Class 11, initially joining BTech-oriented batches. When he decided to pursue architecture, he continued his preparation with the Architecture Creators Pro batch.

Talking about his long association with PW, he said:

“PW sir mera aur PW ka rishta bahut purana hai. Class 11 se maine PW join kiya tha. Us samay maine Arjuna aur wo sab batch join kiye the jo BTech ke liye hote the 11 12th mein.”

This association continued when Abaad shifted his focus towards B.Arch preparation. He joined the Architecture Creators Pro batch and used its classes and practice resources as part of his preparation.

“Phir uske baad maine Architecture Creators Pro batch is saal join kiya jisme faculty members aur teachers mentors itne acche-acche the ki mera bahut acche se preparation bhi ho paya. Phir mock test aur baaki saare modules pe preparation itna badhiya raha ki aap keh sakte hain ki mere preparation mein around 70 to 80% haath PW ka hi hoga ek tareeke se.”

The Architecture Creators Pro batch became a major part of Abaad’s preparation. He specifically mentioned the role of faculty, mentors, mock tests and modules in his preparation.

During the interview, Abaad estimated that around 70–80% of his preparation was supported by PW, reflecting his personal assessment of the role PW played in his journey.

How Abaad Khan Turned His Preparation into a 99.78 Percentile

The improvement from around 86 percentile in B.Arch in 2025 to 99.78 percentile in January 2026 was the result of a more focused preparation cycle. Abaad maintained consistency with his lectures and DPPs and placed particular importance on mock tests towards the end of his preparation.

He shared:

“Strategy consistently bahut zyada important hai. Mera jaise drawing accha tha, jyadatar to main Maths pe bahut zyada consistent rehta tha. Jitne bhi lectures aur videos aate the un sabko main follow karta tha. DPP karne ki zyada se zyada koshish karta tha. Jitna bhi ho sake. Aur phir last ke around one month mein jitna ho sake utna mock test karna chahiye.”

PW had also provided around 15 mock tests, which Abaad found helpful for his preparation. He also continued using revision videos available on YouTube as an additional resource.

His final performance reflected the improvement he had worked towards: 99.78 percentile overall, with approximately 92.5 percentile in Mathematics, 98.18 percentile in Aptitude and 98.56 percentile in Drawing, as mentioned during the session.

Abaad Khan’s Approach to Managing Social Media During Preparation

For Abaad, preparation did not necessarily mean completely avoiding social media. Instead, he tried to make his online consumption relevant to architecture and his preparation.

He explained:

“Agar aap Bachelors in Architecture pursue karna chahte hain aur aap JEE ya phir NATA ke liye preparation kar rahe hain to aapko ye ek tareeke se ye nahi dekhna hai ki ye mera padhai hai. Ye aapko ek tareeke se aise dekhna hai ki main phone bhi bahut jyada, maine social media bhi bahut use kiya aur ye sab bhi maine preparation ke waqt use kiye. But most of the content is mein architecture se related hi mere aate the.”

He followed architecture-related content, including architectural channels and preparation-focused resources. This allowed him to stay connected with the field while also using some of his online time for learning and revision.

What Abaad Khan Plans to Do Next

Despite achieving a strong percentile in the January session, Abaad did not immediately stop preparing. Since counselling would take place later, he planned to appear for the April session as well and try to improve his performance further.

When asked about his plans, he said:

“Yes sir. Because abhi like three to four months ke liye to abhi kuch hoga nahi. Counselling uske baad hi start hoga. To abhi bina matlab ke baithe rehne se achha aur thoda preparation dekh ke try karte hain ki isse jyada thoda achha bhi ho jaaye.”

His response reflects a practical approach: even after reaching a strong position, he saw the remaining time as an opportunity to improve rather than simply wait for the next stage.

Abaad Khan’s journey from around 86 percentile in JEE B.Arch in 2025 to 99.78 percentile in JEE Main 2026 reflects the value of focused preparation after identifying areas for improvement.

During his drop year, he followed PW’s Architecture Creators Pro batch, attended classes, practised DPPs, used modules and increased mock-test practice. His experience also highlights the importance of consistency and continued practice, particularly in subjects he initially found challenging.

For future B.Arch aspirants, his journey offers a practical takeaway: identify your gaps, follow a structured preparation plan, practise regularly and use mock tests to evaluate your progress.
