• Select the department from the list provided.
• Candidates are required to choose the preference 1, 2, 3, and 4 from the drop-down menu.
• Tick on the option given in the form as per choice “Do you want an institute assistantship? (Y/N)”.

IIT Kanpur M.Des Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

IIT Kanpur's M.Des admission for 2025 requires candidates to hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or Architecture with a minimum of 55% marks. A valid CEED score is mandatory for admission. The eligibility criteria is mentioned below in detail. 

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or Architecture from a recognized university. Candidates who have a degree in Fine Arts or Interior Design are not eligible for the entrance exam. 
• Minimum Marks: The degree should be completed with a minimum of 55% marks/5.5 (on a 10-point scale) or equivalent.
• CEED Score: A valid CEED score is required for admission to the M.Des program.
