Important Points Related to UCEED Seat Matrix 2025

A total of 245 seats are available for the B.Des program across seven participating institutes, including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, and the newly added IIT Indore.
The seat matrix follows government reservation policies, with allocations for various categories such as Open, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD. For instance, there are 95 seats for Open category candidates and 25 for EWS.
Each participating institute has a specific number of seats allocated. For example, IIT Guwahati has 56 seats while IIT Indore has 16 seats.
The admission process will consist of five rounds of seat allotment based on the UCEED rank and candidate preferences. Important dates include the first round on April 21, 2025.
Candidates must pay a seat acceptance fee upon allotment to secure their seats. General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates pay ₹60,000, while SC/ST/PwD candidates pay ₹15,000.
UCEED Result 2025
IIT Bombay declared UCEED result 2025 on 7th March 2025 on the official website. The examination was held on January 19, 2025. Using their registered email ID and password candidates downloaded their results. The result included essential details such as individual scores for each part of the exam, overall performance, and the All India Rank (AIR) of candidates. Moreover, the UCEED scorecard was available for download from March 10 to June 11, 2025, and will be valid for one year for admission purposes.
UCEED Counselling 2025
The UCEED Counselling 2025 process commenced on March 14, 2025, and will continue until March 31, 2025, providing an opportunity for candidates who have qualified in the UCEED exam to secure admission into B.Des programs at various participating institutes. The counseling will be conducted online through a centralized Joint Seat Allocation process managed by IIT Bombay. Candidates must register by paying a fee and filling out their preferences for institutes. The seat allotment will occur in five rounds, with the first round results announced on April 21, 2025. Successful candidates will need to pay a seat acceptance fee to confirm their admission.
