NID DAT 2025 Exam Overview
NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2025, is a national-level entrance exam for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) courses offered by NID participating institutes. The exam will be conducted in two stages namely DAT Prelims and Mains examinations. The final result will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. B.Des course is available in 5 campuses namely NID Madhya Pradesh, NID Andhra Pradesh, NID Ahmedabad, and NID Haryana, while M.Des is offered at NID Bengaluru, NID Ahmedabad, and NID Gandhinagar. - Step 2: Click on the “Register To Apply” option and select the program of study.
- Step 3: Enter your credentials such as your name, mobile number, date of birth, email address,contact address, etc. On successful registration, your applicant account will be created.
- Step 4 : Login to your account using your Date of Birth and email ID. Fill all the required details such as educational qualification, personal details, contact details, etc. Select your NID exam centre from the list of cities provided.
- Step 5: Upload the necessary documents in the required format.
- Step 6: After completing the NID application form, make the payment.
- Step 7: Submit the NID application form and take a print for future reference.

Candidates can visit the official website of the NID if they want to edit or update their application form. The following steps will help candidates to edit their NID application form.- Go to the official website of the NID exam.
- Using your email ID and date of birth login to the application correction window.
- Select any of the following options.
- Application Detail: To check details filled up during Sign-Up
- Upload Document: To upload scanned photo and signature again
- Print Application; To print the application form again.
- Cross-check your NID form and then click on the “submit” button. Your form will be submitted along with the changes.
