The authorities will release the provisional offer letter on 19 June 2025 to the shortlisted candidates of round 2.
For M.Des, Round 2 seat allotment began on 29 May 2025, with the deadline for fee payment and document upload on 2 June 2025. The National Institute of Design (NID) announced the provisional offer letter to MDes candidates selected after Round 1 on 20 May 2025. The letter has been sent to the email ID of the shortlisted candidates.
Seat allotment is strictly based on NID DAT merit rank, candidate preferences, category, and seat availability.

As stated in the official notification, Indian Nationals in the general and general EWS categories must have a birth date on or after 01 July 2004. For SC/ST/OBC-NCL category applicants, the birth date must be on or after 01 July 2001 to qualify for the NID entrance exam. Individuals in the PwD category need a birth date on or after 01 July 1999 for eligibility.
