NID BDes Mains Result 2025 Recheck/Reevaluation Window

The rechecking window for NID BDes DAT Mains 2025 will be open from May 16 to May 17, 2025, following the result declaration on May 16. Candidates can request a review for mark totaling errors by submitting a fee of ₹2,000 via the official portal. The process verifies if all answers were assessed and marks correctly transferred, with no changes to answer content. The outcome will be communicated through your email address after processing.

Tie-Breaking Policy for NID BDes Mains Result 2025

In case two or more candidates score the same aggregate scores, their rank is determined by the tie-breaking policy as discussed below. 

• Candidates with higher marks in NID BDes Mains will be given priority. 
• If there is a tie, the candidate with higher marks in NID BDes Prelims will get priority. 
• If the tie continues, candidates who scored higher in Part B of the BDes Prelims will be ranked higher. 
• If the tie is still unresolved, candidates with higher marks in Part A of the Prelims are prioritized.
• If still tied, candidates with more marks in the highest-weightage question of the BDes Mains exam will be allotted higher ranks.
• If the tie persists, candidates receive the same rank. 

NID Seat Allotment 2025

NID seat allotment 2025 will be based on the campus preference, candidates’ merit scores, and seat availability. Shortlisted candidates will be provisionally allotted a seat in their chosen Institute campus. After seats are allotted, candidates must confirm their admission by paying the required fees and uploading documents within the stipulated time to secure their seats. The seat allotment process will be held in multiple rounds if seats remain vacant after each round. 

NID Seat Confirmation Fee

The NID Seat Confirmation Fee is a mandatory payment that candidates must make to confirm their allotted seat after the seat allotment process. The fee must be paid online to confirm the allotted seats. It must be noted that the fee varies according to the category of the candidates and is nonrefundable. NID Counselling 2025

The NID DAT 2025 counselling for B.Des will commence on May 16, 2025. Candidates are required to submit their college preferences by May 18, 2025. M.Des counselling begins earlier, starting May 6, 2025, with no campus preference requirement. Seat allotment for B.Des is done based on merit rank and campus choices, while M.Des relies solely on merit. Candidates must confirm seats by paying fees and uploading documents post-allotment. Provisional offer letters for B.Des will be issued by June 2025.
