NID DAT Counselling 2025: The National Institute of Design (NID) commenced round II seat allotment from 12 June to 15 June 2025. NID DAT 2025 Counselling Process
The NID DAT 2025 counselling process was conducted in online mode with separate procedures for B.Des and M.Des programs. Shortlisted candidates must register, submit preferences (for B.Des), and complete seat allotment formalities to secure admission across various NID campuses. Step 1: Check Your Qualifying Status
Candidates must verify their qualifying status after the NID DAT results are announced. Using their login credentials login to the NID DAT result portal and ensure your eligibility to proceed with the counselling process.
Step 2: Submission of Campus Preference(for B.Des applicants)
B.Des candidates are required to submit their preferred campuses in order of priority. The seats will be allotted based on candidates’ merit rank and seat availability. M.Des candidates do not need to submit campus preferences.
Step 3: Seat Allocation
Seat allotment will be conducted based on the candidates' merit ranks, campus preferences (for B.Des), and available seats. The allocation for B.Des will occur from May 27 to May 30, 2025, while M.Des seat allotment is scheduled for May 6 and 7, 2025.
Step 4: Document Verification
After seat allocation, candidates must upload necessary documents for verification. This includes their NID DAT admit card, scorecard, academic mark sheets, and any applicable certificates. Document verification is essential for confirming admission.
Step 5: Issue of Provisional Offer Letter
