Validity of NIFT Scorecard 2025
The NIFT Scorecard 2025 is valid only for the 2025 admission cycle. The NIFT scores cannot be used for admission in subsequent years. Candidates can download the NIFT scorecard for 90 days post the declaration of results. The scorecard determines eligibility for counseling, seat allotment, and admission to NIFT campuses based on merit ranks.
How are NIFT Results 2025 Prepared?
The NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) 2025 results are prepared based on a candidate’s performance in the entrance exam, which includes a combination of written tests and situation-based assessments. For undergraduate design programs, the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) are considered, followed by a Situation Test for shortlisted candidates. For postgraduate programs, group discussions and personal interviews are also included. Each stage carries specific weightage, and final scores are calculated accordingly. NIFT Ranking 2025
The candidate's NIFT Ranking 2025 refers to their Common Merit Rank (CMR) determined by exam performance (GAT/CAT), Situation Test/Interview scores, and program-specific weightage. It determines candidates’ ranks across categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST, or PwD.
In case of a tie between candidates, the tie-breaking policy prioritizes the marks obtained in the CAT, followed by the GAT scores, and then subject-wise marks in communication ability, English comprehension, quantitative ability, analytical ability, general knowledge, and current affairs.
