Who Can Apply for GATE 2027?

Candidates fulfilling the educational eligibility criteria can submit the application form.

Eligible candidates include:

• Third-year or higher undergraduate students

• Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.)

There is no age limit for appearing in GATE 2027.

How to Fill GATE 2027 Application Form?

Candidates can complete the application through GOAPS by following these steps.

Step 1: Register on GOAPS

Visit the official GATE 2027 website and register using:

• Full Name

• Email ID

• Mobile Number

• Password

A unique Enrollment ID will be generated after successful registration.

Step 2: Login

Login using your Enrollment ID and password.

Step 3: Fill Personal Details

Enter:

• Name

• Date of Birth

• Parent/Guardian Details

• Address

• Category

• Nationality

Ensure that the details exactly match your Photo ID.

Step 4: Enter Educational Details

Fill in:

• Qualifying Degree

• College Name

• University

• Passing Year

• Academic Details

Step 5: Select Test Paper

Choose:

• One or Two Test Papers (only from the permitted combinations)

• Three Examination Cities within the same GATE Zone

Step 6: Upload Documents

Upload:

• Photograph

• Live Photo

The fee can be paid through:

GATE 2027 Application Fee

The application fee is charged per test paper.

Candidates applying for two test papers must pay double the fee applicable for one paper. The fee is non-refundable except in specific cases notified by the GATE Committee.
