What are JEE Main and JEE Advanced?
JEE Main and JEE Advanced are two important entrance exams in India for students aspiring to pursue engineering.
JEE Main is the first level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate engineering programs, including B.Tech and B.Arch, in various institutions such as National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs). JEE Main 2025 is expected to be conducted for four sessions and it is a three-hour computer-based test.
Candidates will be asked 90 MCQs (30 questions from the Maths, Physics, and Chemistry sections). There are four options for each question, of which only one is correct.
Each subject will have two sections : Section A will include MCQs and Section B will include numerical value questions.
Candidates have to attempt 5 questions out of 10. There will be no negative marking in this section.
