Reservation Policy for NMAT
As the admissions process is handled by the individual participating universities, GMAC does not establish any reservation policies. Because of this, the participating universities have their own unique reservation criteria for MBA/PGDM admissions based on the NMAT test, which the applicants must verify on their respective websites before applying.- Moreover, there is no provision for distinct minimum qualifying scores for each category to register for the NMAT test, and there is no price reduction for applicants in the reserved categories (ST/ SC/ OBC/ PwD).
- No matter whatever category a candidate falls into, the application requirements and cost, which is INR 2300, are the same for all applicants.
- Seats shall be reserved for widows/wards of military forces members killed/disabled in action or during peacetime, as well as wards of Kashmiri migrants, for those applicants who have satisfied the requisite cut-offs and other qualifying conditions of the relevant course/s sought for at the time of nmat registration .
