To take part in Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2025 for MD, MS, or MDS courses, students must follow these rules:
You must be an Indian citizen.
You should have finished your MBBS or BDS from a recognized medical or dental college.
If your parents live in Himachal Pradesh, you can apply for state quota seats.
You must have completed your 1-year internship before the date given by MCC.
You should be registered with the State Medical Council, NMC, or DCI.
You need to have a valid NEET PG 2025 or NEET MDS 2025 score.
Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2025 will be managed online by the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), HP. Eligible candidates seeking admission into MD/MS and MDS programs must follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Online Registration: Visit https://www.amruhp.ac.in and fill out the HP NEET PG Counselling 2025 application form. Enter correct personal, academic, and NEET PG details, and upload required documents. Pay the registration fee online based on your category.
Step 2: Application Correction (if required): If there is any mistake in your submitted form, correction windows will be provided. A small correction fee may be charged to edit the submitted information.
Step 3: State Merit List: DMER, Himachal Pradesh, will release the state-wise merit list containing names, categories, and NEET PG 2025 ranks of all eligible applicants.
Step 4: Choice Filling & Locking: Candidates must fill and lock their choices of PG courses and colleges based on preference and availability. This step is done online.
Step 5: Seat Allotment: Based on NEET PG 2025 scores, merit rank, reservation policy, and choices filled, seats will be allotted to the candidates.
Step 6: Reporting to College: Candidates allotted a seat must report to the respective college with original documents and pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
The last step to get your admission confirmed is to pay the course fee. You have to pay this fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
If you belong to the General category, the fee is ₹3300.
If you are from a reserved category, the fee is ₹2200.
