Arunachal Pradesh NEET 2025 Counselling Process

The entire process of NEET counselling in Arunachal Pradesh will take place in stages. Every stage is important and must be completed carefully to ensure seat allocation.

Registration

When counselling starts, candidates will need to visit the official APDHTE website — www.apdhte.nic.in — and complete the online registration. Students must provide their basic details such as name, NEET 2025 score, parent’s name, academic qualifications, contact information, etc. During registration, candidates will also have to upload necessary documents like their photograph, PWD certificate (if applicable), caste/category certificate, Class 10 certificate, and Class 12 marksheet.

State Merit List

After the registration window closes, APDHTE will prepare and publish the state merit list. This list will be based on candidates’ NEET 2025 scores and other eligibility criteria. Only those candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be allowed to proceed to the choice filling stage.

Filling Choices

Candidates included in the merit list will be able to select their preferred colleges and courses online. Once filled, choices must be locked before the deadline. Students may also be allowed to edit, reorder, or remove choices during the open window before locking them permanently.

Seat Allotment

Based on the merit list ranking, category, seat availability, and the preferences filled by students, APDHTE will release the seat allotment list for the first round. This will be published on the official website. Students allotted a seat will have to log in and either accept or decline the seat using the “Floating” or “Freezing” options under the “Submit Willingness” section.

Collection of the Nomination Letter

Candidates who accept their allotted seat must visit the Directorate of Medical Education Training and Research (DMETR) office in Naharlagun to collect their nomination letter. This letter is essential for completing admission at the respective college. Students must carry original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies to the DMETR office. Candidates who fail to collect the nomination letter will lose the allotted seat, and it will be passed on to the next round.
