The Karnataka NEET counselling is conducted in several stages. The students must follow each step carefully in order to get a seat in a dental or medical college. The key steps are:
Online Registration: The candidates will have to register themselves first on the KEA website by providing their NEET roll number, marks, etc.
Document Verification: Upon registration, the students need to approach the centers mentioned for document verification. KEA verifies all the documents like marksheets, NEET admit card, and identification proof.
Choice Filling: After authentication, students are allowed to enter their desired choice of colleges and courses.
Mock Allotment: KEA holds a mock allotment round for the students so that they know the seat allotment process.
Actual Allotment: Seats are assigned to candidates according to NEET rank, category, and preference.
Registration is the first and most important step. Students had to register between July 7 to July 17, 2025 on the KEA official website. Without registration, students cannot participate in the counselling.
