CBSE Grading System for Class 9 2024

Passing Criteria :

• Students need to score a minimum of 33% to pass the CBSE Class 9 annual exam.
• In the internal assessment, a minimum of 7 marks out of 20 is required to pass.

Final Exam :

• Class 9th exam will be conducted for 80 marks.
• Duration of the exam is 3 hours.

Internal Assessment :

• Total marks for internal assessment: 20 for each subject.
• Internal assessment marks are divided into 3 groups:

1. Periodic Test: 10 Marks
2. Notebook Submission: 5 marks
3. Subject Enrichment Activity: 5 marks
