CBSE Practical Exam Date 2025: The dates for the official CBSE Practical Exams and internal evaluations for Classes 10 and 12 have been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The dates for the CBSE 10th and 12th Practical Exams in 2025 have been released for schools that will be closed for the winter. The official announcement states that internal evaluations for winter-bound schools' Class 10 and 12 and the CBSE Practical Exams 2025 will occur from November 5 to December 5. In January 2025, CBSE winter-bound schools are still closed. On January 1, 2025, all other schools will hold their internal CBSE 10th and 12th exams.
As per the requirements of the Examination bye - Laws/Scheme of Studies of the Board, the Practical Examinations/Project/Internal Assessment for the session 2024–25 are scheduled for all affiliated schools in India and overseas starting on January 1, 2025, according to the official notice provided by the CBSE. However, because of the cold, it is expected that the winter-bound schools will stay closed in January. For the 2025 academic year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standards that schools must adhere to during practical exams. These standards address a number of topics, such as uploading marks, appointing external examiners, managing unfair means, and answer books for practical exams.CBSE Practical Exam 2025: Key Instructions for Winter-Bound Schools
In order to guarantee the timely completion of the CBSE practical exams for Classes 10 and 12, the Board has delineated certain measures for schools that are in winter session. Schools must:- Compile a final list of candidates and make sure that the only students who can take part in practical tests, projects, or internal evaluations are those whose names have been entered into the online List of Candidates (LOC).
- Schedules for External Examiners: Make arrangements for the appointment of outside observers and examiners by getting in touch with the regional office.
- Timely Delivery of Answer Books: Make certain that the answer books for the practical exams are finished and sent to the regional offices on schedule.

CBSE Rescheduling of Exam for Absent Students
Only at the allotted time may each student appear for the Practical Examination/Project Assessment. If the student is unable to attend for any reason, they may only reschedule their Practical Examination/Project Assessment on the dates that have been announced. Requests for special authorisation beyond the specified timeframe will not be taken into consideration by the Board. The student will be listed in the online system as "Absent" if they fail to show up for the practical exam, project, or internal assessment. Students whose Practical Examination/Project Assessment is planned on a different day yet they miss a test for whatever reason will be marked as "Re-scheduled" rather than "Absent." Students who are marked as "Re-scheduled" may retake the Practical Examination/Project Assessment only within the allotted timeframe.CBSE Practical Exam Can Board Cancel the Exam
Because any changes to the schedule or grades after submission will not be allowed, schools must adhere to the timeline and submit correct grades. The Board reserves the right to cancel the Practical exam if the schools disregard its instructions. The Board-appointed examiners are the only ones authorised to deliver the practical exam. Should the examiner conducting the practical exam not have been appointed by the Board, it will be cancelled. It's essential to remember that the practical exams for classes 10 and 12 of the CBSE will take place in their own schools, with their subject instructor and an external examiner present. The CBSE made it clear that these standards do not apply to schools that follow a regular schedule; rather, they are only intended for institutions that are winter-bound or that operate in winter locations. What is the practical date of CBSE?
Accordingly, the Practical Examinations/Project/Internal Assessment for the session 2024-25 for classes X and XII for winter-bound schools will be conducted from 5 November 2024 (Tuesday) to 5 December 2024 (Thursday).
